Class Experience

Participants will set goals with me the first week; a parent is welcome in the first session.
I have been a Pilates instructor and personal trainer for over 20 years, invented the trademarked Poolates method and have trained instructors world wide. I am one of the first people in the country to bring Pilates to kids and have worked with young athletes exclusively for the last two years.
A yoga mat, water, light weights or water bottles, a towel and small plush toy or throw pillow are usual props. I may request other household items or suggest specific small equipment after assessment.
40 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 1 - 2 hours per week outside of class.
Any exercise program has inherent dangers, including but not exclusive to, injury. If a participant has any medical or orthopedic issues, please get clearance from a physician prior to starting sessions. Please be sure student has an open and clutter-free space, water, and a mat. Pilates does not require shoes; no socks please; barefoot or “grippy” yoga/pilates socks are permitted after I see the bottom.
