One-to-One Guitar Lessons For All Levels! (Weekly Classes)
These lessons are for people of all levels, from absolute beginners, to seasoned players. In These classes we will cover it all, from proper technique to music theory, and how it relates to the guitar. All in an exciting and engaging way!
Class experience
These lessons are carefully curated to the level, interests and age of each student. To ensure that they reach their guitar playing ambitions. My teaching style is very relaxed, my goal is to make each student as enthusiastic about guitar as possible! I can teach music of all genres, although I'm most comfortable teaching Rock, Pop, Folk, Blues and other contemporary musical styles. I teach both the electric and acoustic guitar. 1) The student will learn to play, or improve all aspects of their guitar playing while playing fun and enjoyable songs. 2) The Student will have a basic fundamental understanding of music theory. 3) The student will learn a wide variety of chords. 4) The student will learn new scales as they progress, starting with a simple 5 note scale (The Minor pentatonic scale) 5) The student will learn how to play along with a metronome, this will drastically improve their timing. 6) The student will learn how to play a variety of different musical styles. 7) The student will learn to read and understand guitar tab and chord diagrams.
I have over 6 years of teaching experience, as a private tutor. In this time I have taught well over a hundred students, many of whom have been with me for a number of years. I have a degree in music performance & Recording from the London College of Music. At which I was taught by various top industry professionals, including the legendary producer Pip Williams I have a grade 8 in electric guitar. Overall I have been playing guitar since 2005, during this time, I have written and played for various artists, in venues and festivals across Europe.
Homework Offered
Practice duration and frequency naturally varies for each student. But I generally recommend at least 10 minutes of practice 5 days a week, to ensure that each student sees consistent improvement and achieves their guitar playing goals.1 - 2 hours per week outside of class
Assessments Offered
I set goals for each student as they progress, and assess them using either songs, scales, chords progressions, or theoretical concepts.Grades Offered
