Class Experience
Welcome! I'm glad you've decided to look into voice lessons! This One time 45 minute private voice lesson can be used to introduce your student to singing and voice lessons to try it out and see if they'd like to commit to longer term lessons, or it can be a performance prep class if you're seeking help or advice on a specific song you're practicing. It can also be used as a general assessment of your student's vocal capabilities and advice. Each student will receive an evaluation to with...
Tailored to student's need- but usually will include a lesson about how the voice works, some vocal exercises, and tips, and evaluation of vocal range, .
Miss Anne began her career as a singing at the age of 13, recorded 3 CD's before her 21st birthday and has sung in several choirs, musical theater productions, and special events in multiple states across the US over the course of the last 20 years. Then she graduated with a degree in Music and has been teaching music for over 10 years. She currently resides in Florida and has appeared twice at the Tampa Bay Rays stadium to sing the National Anthem, has been in productions at both Manatee and Sarasota Players Theaters and sang several concerts with Sarasota's professional Choral Artists. More recently she has been singing around the state with her husband and they are known as "The Martin Duo". www.themartinduo.com . They have and are still recording several audiobooks together as voice over artists in addition to their concert performances. She also is training with the renowned New York Vocal Coaching founder and staff in the summer of 2021 in their vocal coach certification program.
Students will be encouraged to look through material the teacher will send via PDF's, pictures and or YouTube links.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
Student will receive detailed feedback about: 1. Their vocal range 2. Good vocal qualities they posses 3. Areas they may need more practice 4. Extra tips to help them achieve their goals In addition too... -Diagrams that help them understanding how the voice works -Links to other resources they can use as they practice more at home -Audition prep advice based upon what the teacher hears in class
