In this one time class, students will get the chance to try out and learn the basics of guitar or ukulele. A great way to try it out and get to know the teacher before committing to a regular class for the school year! All levels.

Class Experience

This one-on-one private lesson is a great way to learn the basics of your instrument before committing to a regular class!  You choose which instrument: guitar or ukulele and we will take it from there! In the first class, we will:

-Discuss the basics of the guitar or ukulele: how to hold it, strum, and parts of the instrument.
-How to read a chord chart 
-Strategies for getting the best sound out of the instrument.
-Learn some basic notes and/or chords to play your first song!

The teacher...

Students will learn the basics of the guitar or ukulele, including: how to hold the instrument, parts of the instrument, basic strumming technique, how to read a chord chart, and a basic song.

0A handout and any beginner music will be provided for this one time session.
Student will need a guitar or ukulele (preferably in tune although the instructor can help with this if necessary!)
