Class Experience
In this one time class, students have an opportunity to meet and work on targeted skills during that time. Audition prep, test prep, College or University audition, Honor Band or Orchestra audition, or extra 1:1 time working with me. We will talk about your goals, how things are going right now, identify areas you want to work on and then we'll get to work. Maybe you're looking for a little extra help on a new instrument or an extra lesson on a specific week. This is the class for you! Students can expect to work in a casual and relaxed environment that is interactive and focused on their daily goal. The objective is to enjoy the lesson, learn new skills and apply them to your instrument. We'll work together in crafting your lesson that day. I'll show you some musical short cuts and tricks to play more efficiently. Possible topics covered depending on student/family request: Audition preparation Posture Air support Reading music and interpreting the details (dynamics, articulation) Learning a new instrument Specific playing techniques

My name is Lindsey and I am an Ontario certified teacher of Music, History, Library, English, ESL and other subjects. I love teaching, getting to know my students and meeting them where they are. Having a positive experience when learning is top priority in building student confidence. My happiest days are watching students enjoy and recognize their academic growth.
In my previous positions I have been head of Arts, English and History in prior years. I am thankful for the opportunity to reach students across the globe through his online format! I've lived and taught in Canada, Bermuda, Bahamas and Dubai. I’ve conducted around the world and worked with IB - PYP, MYP and DP curriculum.
