One Step Up - Ballet Class - Work on Technique, Placement, Coordination (Ongoing), Joy of Dance.
Students will learn and work on the improvement of ballet technique, placement, coordination, musicality based on method of A. Vaganova. If you love to dance, enjoy learning in creative and open environment this class is for you.

Class Experience
Each class will start with warm-up and end with stretching and cool-down routines. Warm-up consists of little bit of cardio steps, floor-barre exercises to train muscles responsible for turn-out and upper body placement / alignment. During the class we dance; choreography is based on the steps we just mastered. Students do love these short compositions. Bellow syllabus I offer to students in this class: • Positions: detailed discussions (arms, feet) • Plie: Demi-Plies, Grand-Plies...
This ongoing class will help students to work further on ballet technique, improve flexibility, build strength.
Regular stretching exercise, practice reviewed steps in class, read books about ballet, watch professional ballet records
teacher will correct steps, answer all questions
50 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 2 - 4 hours per week outside of class.
Dance exercise requires open safe space; comfortable clothing; ballet shoes are the best choice, if it is not available - non slippery socks or comfortable shoes. Camera - I would need to be able to see students legs and arms for timely corrections.
