Description
Class Experience
Students will feel equipped to take on any project and have the information necessary to approach each performance or audition with confidence and enthusiasm!
I am an actor, singer, and VoiceOver artist working in Atlanta, Georgia! I have been working in the arts for over ten years both on the stage and in film working as an actor, singer, and even as a director and teacher! I have worked with after school drama programs, as the theater director in a college prep school, and teaching drama and voice virtually since 2020 on Outschool. In addition, I narrate audiobooks and teach special fx and cosplay makeup online. I love sharing my knowledge with young artists and find that they inspire me as much as I aim to inspire them. When not working in the arts, I work with animals, specifically cats, dogs, and rescue horses.
Students will be provided with music, scripts, or notes for audition improvement to practice between each coaching session. Students will be expected to come prepared to each session.
Bring a song or script to class or request that I provide one for you ahead of time. If you need music, please bring a cell phone or iPad or external resource to play from as this helps me hear you better. If you are working on an audition, bring your sides and audition materials to class.
In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
- YouTube
- Spotify
- Apple Music
30 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
All music, scripts, or other material used in this class will be appropriate for each student's age and experience level.
Bring a song to work on in class or I will help you find one. Also have a cell phone/CD Player/Speaker/iPad - some sort of external device to play music from as sometimes the Zoom app can cut out music and it's better for me to hear you if the music is playing on your end.
