Welcome to Ms. Abby’s Tutoring Class. We will meet twice a week for 30 minutes each week. In each class, we will work on areas that your learner needs assistance or would like an improvement on. We can divide the time and cover as many areas as we can. My Experience: I have been homeschooling my daughter for several years. I teach Pre-K, Circle Time, Kindergarten, and 1st Grade, classes. Also, I have experience working with learners with delays or learning challenges as my daughter, Laura, has Autism. I will teach with slides and worksheets and any tools that will help your learner. In our first meeting, we will meet and discuss what areas you would like to focus on. I will provide a few exercises to see where your learner may need development. I can also provide homework to work on outside of class.

Parental Guidance is required for the use of scissors
Supply List
White Board or Paper Worksheets will be provided the Saturday before class. Crayons, Markers something to write with. Any additional supplies MS Abby will discuss with you

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

Hello, and welcome to my class! I'm Abby. I have over 30 years experience working with children ages 2-16. For many years, I was the co-owner, director of instruction, and lead teacher for J & A Daycare Center. I also have many years of experience caring for and teaching children through nannying and private home daycare, including children on the autism spectrum. (I have such a heart for children with special needs!) For the past five years, it has been my joy to homeschool my 20-year-old daughter. It is exciting to see her thriving and enjoying learning!
My teaching style is warm, creative, and fun. I am passionate about teaching young children! I love to encourage children and make sure they feel welcome. My goal for my classes is for every child to walk away smiling and feeling like they had a good time!
My husband, daughter and I make our home in Athens, GA. I enjoy wood painting, coloring, cooking, and crafts. I am so excited to meet and teach your child!Reviews
