I will observe and work one on one with your student for the entire tutoring session. I will then provide you with a follow up email to ensure you are aware of the topic worked on, how the topic was approached, how your student responded and additional skills or activities you can follow up with at home.Class Experience
US Grade Kindergarten - 10
This one time class offering is to allow each learner to sign up as needed. Tackling an especially difficult subject at home and need my assistance? Struggling to make a connection on a certain subject area? Need some extra one on one time? Homework assistance? I'm available to help with it all! I am a certified elementary classroom teacher with an additional certification in Reading Specialist K-12 in NY State. I also hold a teacher certificate in the state of South Dakota. In addition, I have a wide variety of "other" experience. I have worked as a district tutor for grades K-12, working with all subject areas to ensure students were on track to either complete their academic year or to graduate. I am also a homeschooling mom of five children, with my oldest three children completing high school level work with me as their curriculum writer and teacher. I am available to help your child as needed! PLEASE SEND AN EMAIL BEFORE THE SESSION that gives specific information on what you would like your student and I to focus on for the tutoring session. This email is NECESSARY and will allow me to plan ahead for our session and gather any necessary materials or supplements in order to best assist your student.

I am a well rounded teacher with experience in a variety of subject areas, curriculum, age levels and abilities. I love learning and I love to make learning fun for others. I always aim to get my students laughing too while accomplishing this. The more we laugh, the more we love what we are doing and I want my students to love learning!
