Description
Class Experience
Welcome to One-on One Tutoring! In this class your student will be assessed using a formal assessment such as a Running Record and Developmental Spelling test to see what their strengths and opportunities for growth are. Once assessed, I'll develop an individualized lesson to work on a predetermined skill identified by the parents. The student will improve in his/her opportunities for growth in reading and/or writing as identified by the teacher and parent.
I've taught kindergarten, first grade, and K-6 special education for over fifteen years in public schools. I'm now a College Professor who teaches elementary reading classes to college students.

This will vary depending on the lesson. Its always a good idea to have paper and pencil or some type of writing material on hand.
Parent will receive a written report after each lesson.
25 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
