A variety of reading skills will be taught that are specifically customized to the child's needs. Examples include phonemic awareness drills, phonics instruction, decoding, fluency, reading comprehension, and advanced comprehension strategies. The student will be interacting with the teacher continuously through the lesson. The teacher will explicitly communicate student needs and progress to the parent as needed.
