Description

Class Experience

The time after winter break is when the schools begin to focus on upcoming testing. It is also the time of year when new information comes faster, and our students have to tie everything together that they have learned. There are some concepts in Language Arts that may need a little more focus. Or, there may be some creative writing skills that your student wants to improve on. How about better essay writing? How can they improve reading comprehension? In the one on one tutoring session, I...

Your student will have one on one help and clarification in the areas of reading and writing. I also work with test anxiety, providing them with calming methods. Bring up concerns from spelling to reading comprehension to essay writing.

I did very well assisting my class to raise their scores for testing. In tutoring, I work closely with the student for them to gain increased knowledge of the language arts, as well as working with them to make sure they are giving their school instructors what they need.

I have study aids, and we can go over any homework they were given in class.

1 hour per week in class, and an estimated 1 - 2 hours per week outside of class.
