Description

Class Experience

Mental health education can be as sensitive as it is crucial to development. I am a Master's student in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and I hold a Bachelor's degree in Psychology. I have experience in academic research, teaching and creating curriculum, emotional development, crisis training and response, and childcare.
Depending on reading/writing level, I recommend your student bring a notebook and something to write with to class. They will have access to the recorded session and a written overview of our session (sent following session), so if they'd prefer to just listen instead of writing, that is absolutely fine!
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
Following your student's meeting, I will message a short break-down of the coping skills we discussed and goals your student wants to work toward.
25 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
