Description

Class Experience

Spanish is taught in a one-on-one format. Topics covered will be determined by the student's individual language needs but might be focused on pronunciation, grammatical concepts and topics that pertain to specific regions in Latin America and Spain (eg. slang, formalities). Generally, instruction will be focused on the major language learning strands (speaking, listening, reading and writing).

Learners may be at any level- beginner, intermediate or advanced.

I am a certified middle school and high school teacher. I have a Bachelor of arts in Spanish and English literature and hold a Bachelor of Education from the University of Toronto. I am Canadian with a Hispanic ethnic background and am very familiar with aspects of Latin American culture. I have been teaching in Canada and overseas (Dominican Republic and Turkey) since 2010. I have spent the past 6 years teaching Spanish, English, ESL and Special Education programs at various public high schools in Ontario, Canada.

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
