One on One Show and Tell Rocks

This 30 minute, one time class will focus on identifying rocks owned by the learner and sharing rock collections. We will discuss the learner's rock collection and work together to identify their rocks. While identifying their rocks we will also talk about how they might have formed, where they can be found, any uses for those rocks, identification of any fossils they hold, as well as other important information that comes up. The goals for this course is that the learner will have identified their rocks from their collection and will be able to identify future additions to their collection.
I have both a Bachelor's of science and Master's degree in Earth Science, with a focus in paleontology, and have previously worked at a UNESCO fossil world heritage site.
A collection of rocks of various types, they don't have to be specific rocks, just whatever your learner has and would like to bring.
