One-On-One Reading Fluency: Guided Reading!

Together in an open and warm environment, we will get your reader to read faster! Students will explore levelled text(s) that they are able to read at, and we will go over it together to enhance fluency, comprehension, expression, and tone. Using literacy curriculum (A-Z Reading) we will work at they are at. Virtually, we can clearly read the text on the screen together and go over the enhanced lesson plan questions or critical thinking areas that help any reader become stronger! The best way to strengthen any reader is through fluency. 

We will start the lesson with a friendly beginning, asking the student how they feel about reading and their strengths. Then, through a guided reading model we will read different book(s) based on how the student reads and how long corrective reading takes. Its a soft, supportive way to get readers to read. I can then send over any other materials and worksheets if we go over them. 

Suggested is 2x per week for best results; may go over 35 minutes (just a guideline). I will give feedback and next steps so we can continue to work together to get you to your reading goals:)
