This is a 1:1 tutoring class for reading with a certified reading specialist with over 30 years of experience teaching students to read. Many students I have worked with find reading hard. They only see what they can't do as readers. However, every child I have worked with has had strengths as a learner that they don't realize they have! Passages from Reading A-Z and Pioneer Valley will be used for instruction. I will provide these texts. Supplies needed include a pencil and a piece of paper. Students in grades 2-6 will need a notebook (approximately $.99). Students in kindergarten or 1st grade will need a small whiteboard (approximately $9.99 for a pack of 6) and a whiteboard marker and eraser (approximately $8.99 for 4 markers and an eraser)
