Your child will receive personalized one-on-one tutoring in reading, writing, and math based on your child's needs and goals in this class. In the first class, we will discuss the goals you and the learner have. I will use your state standards (public school) or your school's (private/charter) standards. I have taught Kindergarten through fifth grade in all content areas. We will focus on making sure your child understands the concept of what the content is, and will have ample time to practice. I am currently a public school teacher in Florida. This class will be hands on and fun, while still addressing the needs of your child and getting them to grow in content areas they are either low in, or not confident in. It is my passion as a teacher to make sure each child has the opportunity to grow.

Examples of Topics:
Reading - fluency, decoding, sight words, spelling, comprehension, answering multiple-choice questions, and more!
Writing - simple and complex sentences, narrative, expository, and opinion writing. 
Math - addition, subtraction, rounding, multiplication, division, fractions, rounding, word problems, decimals, area, perimeter and more!
