Class Experience
Learn drums with an experienced instructor who will teach you the technique you need while learning all of your favorite songs! This class is for all levels from complete beginners to more advanced students! For a beginner, the first lessons will run as follows: Week 1 (first lesson): Getting to know the student/favorite music, playing along with a basic beat to a favorite song The instructor will get to know a few of the student's favorite songs either prior to the lesson or at the...
Students will learn basic concepts and techniques of the drums including: -Basic beats/rhythms -Drumset technique and setup -Rudiments/stick patterns -Playing songs in full
Levi Carpman is a Northern Colorado based musician, educator, and producer. He attended the University of Northern Colorado where he received a Bachelor of Music in Jazz Studies. Levi has been teaching since 2019 in a variety of settings ranging from private lessons to directing a state finalist marching band percussion section. He has experience with a variety of genres, allowing lessons to be tailored around the interests of the student, and his main goal is always to help students find the joy in music.
Students will be expected to practice between 15-30 minutes a day as beginners.
