Beginner - Advanced Level
In this one-to-one tutoring session, the focus is on learning solid drawing techniques, exploring digital or traditional media. Basically, I use the students drawing interests and subjects of interest to explore techniques, character design and how to draw from imagination. I present fun and entertaining lessons for artist of all ages! Students connect virtually with me while we work through character designs and learn solid cartoon drawing techniques. The lessons cover the foundations of cartooning and drawing, form, constructing characters, line of action, and getting the proper proportions to designing appealing characters. TOPICS COVERED: Shape based cartoon drawing Cartoon Character Construction Drawing the head and facial expressions Drawing Cartoon Hands Drawing a balanced character Line of Action and drawing a clear pose

Pencil- Regular Number 2 pencil works Drawing Paper- Thick Paper, Cardstock Printer Paper works great. Ink Pens-Micron pens 1.0 or Thin Sharpies Color- Art Markers/ Color Pencils or Crayons
