One on One Phonics Reading Learning Session

I will teach and practice elements of reading: sounds, decoding and sight words. On the spot, I will get a sense of your child's phonemic awareness and assess mastery of letters, sounds, decodable words, and sight words. From there, I will teach and practice what your child needs to practice next making sure your child will receive instruction specific to his or her learning needs. I will teach by first focusing on the sounds or phonics rule which will be applied to decodable words. I will also integrate sight words that may not follow the rules. I will be consistent and predictable with an encouraging attitude. I ask that my student comes willing to try his or her best.
