Class Experience

This one-on-one bass class is meant for any learner (beginner to advanced) that wishes to learn how to play bass or perfect his/her bass skills. No prior knowledge is needed. In this class, we will work towards goals and interests of the learner, no matter what style he/she wants to learn or what aspect of the play he/she wants to progress in. Bass technic will be approach through songs that will be chosen by the learner from suggestions given both by the teacher and the learner.

Students will learn to play bass in their preferred style. We will explore different aspects of music and technics such as bassline construction, chords structure, dexterity, scales, musicianship, and music reading.

I have a Master's degree and a Bachelor's degree both in music. I also did a university course in music pedagogy. Moreover, I taught bass and other music lessons to high school level students as well as kids for many years in private music schools. I am also a professional bass player for 20 years.

- Bass (any kind)
- A tuner (physical tuner or app.)
- A second device to play Youtube music (if you wish to play over music)

In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:Youtube

30 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.

This class require to use Youtube in order to play over music during classes and between them. No Youtube account is needed.
