Class experience
In this ongoing one-on-one class, your learner will receive individualized attention to grow their reading analysis skills. This course is for students who need or want individual support in discussing books. I am an experienced English teacher and an educational advisor who is happy to develop a plan for your student. This course is also open for small group instruction for up to 3 students. My goal with this course is to meet your student's needs and help them grow in their reading...
To ensure effective tutoring, the teacher suggests meeting 2x per week. Book additional recurring meetings after the initial purchase.Students will become more engaged and critical readers and will be able to share their opinions and thoughts confidently.
Homework Offered
Homework can be adjusted to each learner's needs.2 - 4 hours per week outside of class

Families are responsible to get each book we study for their student.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
Books should be pre-read by parents if you have any concerns about content. Reviews can also be found on Common Sense Media, Amazon, Goodreads, Kirkus, and The School Library Journal.
