One-On-One Math Tutoring (Ongoing)
In this hour session, we will work in a one-on-one setting where the student can receive individualized support with struggling skills and concepts. I will give them guidance with teacher select problems or suggest practice problems.

This course will be in the form of one-on-one tutoring support. This class will be structured in a teaching style that is call and response, lecture, review, and practice. Students will be able to interact through Nearpods, Google slides, IXL and other classroom tools that will be used for review sessions. This one on one tutoring session will be based on parent/teacher guidance to work on struggle areas or to review areas that need additional practice. Students do not need any prior knowledge to this course as it is completely teacher selected and parent choice of the material that is covered.
Learning Goals
Students will improve their understanding of mathematic concepts and skills involving the four main functions. Students will be encouraged to increase in their knowledge on mental math, problem-solving, word problem reading, and proper equation set up.
Parents are encouraged to discuss what students problem areas are so that lessons can be created for their needs.
