These individual tutoring sessions will help your student master math skills and build problem-solving confidence to tackle any problem. Each session is customized based on the needs of the student. Parents have the option of emailing the specific skills they would like for me to work on with their student or I can give an assessment during the initial class to determine skills that need improvement. If you would like for me to help with a specific homework assignment, please email the details along with any worksheets that need to be completed. I want to make these tutoring sessions fun and engaging so we will use virtual whiteboards, slide shows, and at times play games to practice skills. If this time doesn't work for your schedule then please message me for a different time. I have enjoyed teaching students for 16 years in elementary education and I look forward to working with your student!

Supply List
At times we will use a virtual whiteboard or games in programs like Nearpod or Kahoot. There is no additional cost to parents for these resources. Depending on what math skills the student needs to work on, I may send worksheets to be printed with manipulatives or other activities that we will use in class.

I am a compassionate, hands-on teacher that has spent the last 16 wonderful years teaching all the core subjects in a public school setting. My expertise is in math, science, and language arts for 2nd-5th grade. I had the privilege of working as a reading intervention specialist for PreK-5th grade students where I diagnosed reading difficulties and instructed students in small groups to master skills. In addition to teaching elementary-age students, I am certified in College Counseling, where I hope to use my knowledge to help students of all ages love learning and see their dreams become a reality.
I believe learning should be fun and engaging. I teach with a hands-on approach so that students stay engaged through creative activities and games. I believe every child can learn and it is my job to find out the best way to teach them.
