Class Experience
Students will improve their understanding of basic reading skills, such as comprehension, rhyming concepts, grammar, and text features.
Handouts will be provided by the teacher. Please let me know if a printer is unavailable! Other materials to be provided by the parent: -Pencils -Markers -Crayons -Scissors -Glue
In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
Students will be assessed informally throughout the course through the content and questions. Parents should be prepared to give a basic needs assessment to the tutor by naming the skills that the student needs to practice as well as enjoyed topics and interests. Parents may also contact for formal written assessments or narrative reports, should they require any documentation for school applications or parent-teacher conferences.
1 hour per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
please note that scissors may be used in this class. Parental supervision is encouraged. No accounts are needed for this course. Any use of external materials will be provided by the teacher and/or screen shared through Zoom
