This is a one-on-one, one time class, for me to assess students' French abilities. This is a section that can be used for any student where a parent has requested assessment of their abilities. Assessment is based on what I have discussed personally with the parent. It can include oral communication assessment, phonological awareness assessment, writing samples, and more. It will depend on the interest and needs of the student and parents. This is open to all ages by request. Students will work one-on-one with me, in a low stress, calm environment in an assessment that will further inform my teaching.

Bonjour! I'm Gabi, I teach French, and I am Canadian! I speak three languages and love helping students develop their own language competencies.
I am offering classes for young learners in French phonics and basic language skills.
My French experience comes from my completion of the French Immersion program in Ontario. I continued with my French studies in University. My love for languages continued to grow and here I am teaching it to others!
I have a bachelor degree in Psychology and French from McMaster University. I attended Western University for my teaching degree. I am certified to teach grades K-12 and currently teach in a French Immersion school in Ontario. I'm an Ontario Certified Teacher and you are welcome to look me up on the public registry to see my qualifications.
I currently teach at a primary school in Ontario but I also have experience working with secondary school students.
I have extensive experience working with students in a class setting, small groups, and one-on-one tutoring. I have worked with students as young as 3 years old and up to 60 years old!
I am enthusiastic, laid-back, and patient. I am motivated to share my love of languages with young learners so that they can develop new skills and competencies that will last their entire lifetimes.
