In this ongoing course, learners will learn to speak Spanish using vocabulary based on a weekly theme! No prior knowledge of Spanish is necessary! I tailor the lesson to your learner's current knowledge of Spanish. Students will practice using the new vocabulary to speak and play games in a fun, interactive, theme based format! Students will learn themed vocabulary to practice speaking Spanish to expand their vocabulary and fluency! Each class will include speaking activities and games in Spanish using the themed vocabulary! No prior knowledge of Spanish is required to have fun and be successful in this course! Yay!
I have a Bachelor's Degree in Spanish and a Masters Degree in Education. I taught Spanish at a traditional public middle school for 11 years and at a traditional public high school for 3 years. Currently, I am the administrative supervisor and instructional leader of the World Languages Department at a traditional public high school. I have experience teaching all core content areas at the elementary level in a traditional school classroom, as well as in a bilingual classroom. I have been teaching Spanish on Outschool since June 2020.
