Description

Class Experience

Students will understand the importance of shading, coloring, and using different shapes and textures in their pixel art. They will improve their drawing ability and sometimes, even their ability to animate.
I have been creating pixel art for around 8 years. Recently, I have worked semi-professionally with this skill, doing art for an independent video game, including my own two independent video games.
You will need a computer or tablet. I highly recommend using a mouse instead of a touch screen or stylus.
In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
After each class, I will provide constructive criticism to the learner to tell them how they succeeded and what they can improve on.
55 minutes per class, and maybe some time outside of class.
We will use pixilart.com, a free pixel drawing website:
