This class provides individualized instruction to help facilitate growth and creativity in the area of drawing or painting. I will design sequential lessons aimed at developing skills such as: drawing with shapes, shading, or color theory.

Description

Class Experience

This class is designed to be a place of support and individualized instruction for students with an interest in drawing. Sometimes artists work on drawings around a common theme, and sometimes they work on different ideas and techniques as they progress. What would you like to learn about? What would you like to improve upon? 

In this one-on-one class, we will work on skills and projects designed for you. Students or parents can communicate with me about what subject that they are interested...

1) Students will create a work of art based on individualized objectives.
2) Students will learn about at least one element or principle of art with each lesson.
3) Students will create a work of art and describe aspects of that work of art with instructor.

I am a certified K-12 Art Educator and a Professional Artist.

Learners are informally assessed through discussion and analysis of elements or art.

45 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
