Class Experience
This class is for one on one instruction from Coach Heather for four weeks once a week. Classes are scheduled for four 45 minute session each, which begins with a short stretch and review. This is when the student will have the opportunity to have Coach Heather assesses his/her skill level and instruct on drills to improve technique. New material will be introduced gradually to help the athlete understand the skill that he/she is working towards. Students will have the opportunity to work on each new concept during the lesson. Videos will be posted to the classroom that are beneficial for practice at home. If a student or parent has questions, they are encouraged to message Coach Heather directly. These are individualized lessons tailored towards the students specific needs and skill level. Learning Goals
Parents will communicate to Coach Heather what skills the student wants to learn in the Outschool conversation. Coach Heather will have drills on the first private lesson for the skills the student wants to learn. Every lesson will begin with a quick review and then progress to other drills to achieve the students goals.

Parental Guidance
Risk of injury if students are not performing skills correctly. Parental guidance and assistance may be needed. Please make sure proper safety precautions are taken. For example, make sure student is not performing skills next to furniture and has proper matting required for class. Understand learner is doing physical fitness and has risk of injury if not properly supervised by parent.
Please have open space clear of furniture, gymnastics or yoga mat, bottle of water, and read supply list above.
This is a risky class because the student does not have a coach at home to work with them on proper form and technique and the potential for injury exists. Parent supervision(adult present during the class) and skills may need to be modified according to skill level, coordination, and strength of each student.
Supply List
Supply List: *Gymnastics mat or yoga mat *4-5 Pillows *Clear wall space *Dining room chair Other supplies may be needed as lessons progress. Please wear appropriate gymnastics or cheer warm-up clothes while doing class. Hair pulled back and no jewelry.

I'm certified through USA Gymnastics and Acrobatic Arts and I've learned from many different coaches and instructors throughout my years of coaching. I truly love to see the gymnast improve with unique progressions. Watching students achieve skills and be excited about accomplishing a body movement is amazing to watch!
