One Hour Private Tutoring - Ages 10-18

This one-on-one tutoring session is customized individually to fit your specific needs.  Does your learner have a writing assignment s/he is struggling with?  As a previous high school English teacher, I'm qualified and happy to help in several areas of writing such as, improving word choice, organization, grammar, sentence structure, and sentence variety.  We can work on any form of writing, for example, expository, persuasive, research, argumentative, descriptive, and creative writing.  

If your child isn't currently writing a paper, I can work with your student to select an interesting writing topic, and we can begin the writing process together.  After choosing the topic, we will then work to narrow the topic.  The full writing process involves brainstorming, outlining, prewriting, writing, and editing.
