Welcome to my course: One Hour Private Piano Lessons for Level 1 & Up. In this course I will offer a private lesson meeting your child at their current Piano Playing level. This course is a thorough overview of how to play the piano and read music. Students will become proficient performers as well as skilled musicians understanding music theory and terminology.. Through the various books that we choose, your student will learn songs appropriate for their skill level, as well as theory...
Your student will grow at a pace that will be readily seen by you, even if you're not a musician. Practicing faithfully will make the difference.
I have taught children in the classroom for over 25 years and online for 5 years. I am respected and loved by my current piano students and parents on Outschool. I have a Bachelor's degree in Music Education.
Homework Offered
Pages from the books will be assigned either in class or afterwards on the classroom page. I expect that the student practices a minimum of two hours a week, so that they are ready to play their homework assignments at the next lesson and feel comfortable doing so.2 - 4 hours per week outside of class

I prefer Faber Piano Adventures curriculum, but am open to what your student is currently using. They must have finished at least a Primary level book, and be currently in Level 1 or ready to move up to it. Have them bring their current books to the first lesson.
