US Grade 5 - 8
One Hour Civics offers a bite sized lesson on different types of government, based on who rules. We will also further examine classifications based on how they rule as well. Does anyone need to be in charge? Who should be in charge? What does it looks like when only a few people are in charge vs many? How do they rule? In what style or manner? In this session, we will watch a short video, work through the questions outlined above regarding the rulers of nations, complete a comparison worksheet, work together to identify the type of government in different nations & then imagine how those nations might be different with a different type of government, and create our own type of government.
