Description
Class Experience
Has your learner dreamed of writing their very own book? Is there this lurking idea that they just can't quite put together or finish? This 8 week challenging course will put their minds to work while also having fun bringing their book to life. Let's get to it! In this 8 week flexible schedule class (no live meetings), students will work through the different parts of writing a book so they are set up to successfully finish it. Students will learn the ins and outs of the book writing process so they feel they have the knowledge to finish their own book.
Daily assignment will be writing (at least 15-20 mins... free writing, prompt or on their book) which they can choose to share with the class. Students will also be asked to complete 2 assignments a week that assist in their understanding of the book writing process which will all be required to be turned in. Students should plan to work at least 3-4 hours a week on this course, unless they need more time.

In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
