50 mins in-class hoursClass Experience
In this one-time class, students will meet one time for 50 minutes to learn and discuss all about dogs that work on farms. From herding to pest control, we will talk about all the different duties a farm dog can do. Furthermore, we will look at the different breeds of farm dogs and which type is better for certain jobs. This will include Border Collies, Shepherds, Pyrenees, Cattle dogs, Terriers, and many more. This class is intended to be fun and interesting, and I encourage students to participate and discuss their thoughts and opinions! The class will end with a fun quiz game to see what students have learned! It doesn't matter who wins or loses, this is all for fun! Let's have fun and learn about our hard working four legged friends on the farm!

Teacher expertise and credentials
**Currently on maternity leave and will not be teaching any classes until further notice. Thank you for your understanding!**
Hello! My name is Colleen and welcome to my classroom! I am from Canada, but I live in Australia. I adore and am fascinated by animals and I want to educate young learners about the fun and interesting facts about all things animals. I have a family dog back home in Canada and two dogs, a cat, and a budgie in Australia. I have also had many other pets such as fish, ducks and chickens! Besides a passion for animals, I am also an online ESL (English as a second language) teacher with VIPKID and Cambly. I believe that fun discussions and sharing are great skills for students to have and develop. I also find it keeps students interested and engaged in the subjects they are learning. Therefore in my classroom, there will be a lot of discussions, questions, sharing, activities, constant encouragement and fun energy! I look forward to seeing your learner in the classroom!
