On-Going Private Art Lessons How to Draw Favorite Video Game & Cartoon Character

Class
Rozine
Average rating:4.9Number of reviews:(2,246)
Artists choose which television, movie, or video game character(s) they want to draw.

Class experience

Research shows there is a significant connection between arts and achievement.

Drawing and coloring develops many talents, such as:
• fine motor skills
• spatial reasoning
• objectivity
• visualization
• self-discipline
• creative problem-solving
Since 2005, Rozine taught cartooning classes to elementary-aged, inner-city children in Chicago and Los Angeles. She is the illustrator, author, and publisher of several all-age coloring activity books. She creates a relaxing atmosphere, encouraging connection amongst others, as well as confident self-expression.
While it is beneficial for the enrolled to have knowledge of the characters they wish to learn how to draw, artists do not need to have any account for any app or website to participate in private art lessons.

Students will need either a sketchpad, or 5-10 sheets of drawing or printer paper. Pencils and erasers are a must (unless artist is drawing on a digital device). Coloring utensils can be crayons, colored pencils, and/or markers. A Sharpie marker is optional. Rulers may be needed. Students can frame their artwork by stapling or taping it to a larger sheet of colored construction paper (also optional). Paint is by family discretion. Please let Rozine know in advance if you prefer to learn how to use a specific tool, material, or utensil.
