Preschool/Pre-K Circle Time Fun! With Mrs. Rachel - Series 1 In these 3 days/week class, students will engage in preschool circle time with Mrs. Rachel. The class will be full of fun learning time with songs and dance. The class will focus on learning basic preschool concepts such as the following: literacy (letter, letter-sound, rhyming, sight word, etc.), math (numbers, shapes, colors, patterns, etc.). Social studies & Science will also be incorporated as a part of weekly learning. (such as change of seasons and thanksgiving!) Through various activities, students will be able to learn and practice different skills that prepare them to be in Kindergarten ready. Skills to be covered: Literacy: Letter recognition, Letter sound correspondence, Rhyming Math: Numbers, Counting, Shapes, Colors, Patterns, Sorting Class schedule: 3 min: Greetings/conversation 5 min: Calendar/Weather (Math Skills) 20 min: Different academic activity 2 min: Wrap up Class Contents: Monday: Letter of the Day Wednesday: Letter of the Day Friday: Rhyming/Sight word & Pattern/Color/Shape *This is an on-going class.
