Class Experience

I love watching the Olympics and am excited to offer an Olympic-themed 6th Grade Math review class! In this two-time class, the students will watch short video clips from the Olympics and answer math questions about the sports. The questions for each class will cover the events that took place in the previous week of games. 

The topics covered include: ratios and unit rates, fraction division, decimal division, area and volume, data representation and measures of variability. The students...

A notebook and pencil or a whiteboard and whiteboard marker.

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

1 hour 50 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.

We will watch short Youtube video clips of 2020 Olympic events.
