In this one time class we will draw a landscape using oil pastels, following along with the instructor.
Class experience
We will draw a lovely landscape using oil pastels. We will begin by discussing elements of a landscape: horizon, foreground, background, light. What is important? How do we structure it? Then we will follow along with the instructor to create a lovely landscape. Many of my classes are open ended, and the kids have room for improvisation. The students will have a chance to practice their problem solving abilities. Together, we will identify where they are having difficulties and come up with solutions in order to resolve them.
