Calling all winter crafters! In this one time class, learners will create a unique snowflake picture utilizing oil pastels to resist watercolors. In this class I will demonstrate techniques for students in real time on screen. We will work together step by step. As we complete our individual pictures, learners will be encouraged to share what they made with the class, however this is optional! Snowflake paintings are a great way to decorate for the season or to give as gifts. This class is perfect for beginners as well as accomplished artists!

Teacher expertise and credentials
Hello! I am excited to meet you! I am an enthusiastic teacher and believe learning should be fun. Learning is enhanced for a child when it is presented in a context made relative to their interests.
I graduated from Washington State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Social Sciences. I have taught children for over 15 years. My background includes teaching EFL online to learners aged 4-16 as well as teaching preschool.
I live near Seattle, Washington with my husband and two children. We also have a Siberian Husky, two tuxedo cats, two ferrets, a leopard gecko and a crested gecko. Outside of teaching, I love cooking, volunteering at my children's school and traveling with my family. I look forward to fun and creativity with your child in my classroom!
