What's included
1 live meeting
30 mins in-class hoursClass Experience
This class will discuss what a typical snowy day is like. We will talk about appropriate clothes and fun things suited for this cold season. We will also describe activities that we don't normally do when it's cold. There will be singing with hand and upper body movements (This is not a strenuous exercise to prepare for and it can be done while seated at the computer.), drawing a snowman step by step and paper cutting snowflakes. The children will also have the opportunity to express their ideas of what they think would be fun to do on a cold day. Great interaction will be fostered between me and the students through these activities. The only required experience learners need is the ability to use a child safe pair of scissors. Otherwise parent supervision at this time will be highly recommended.
Learning Goals
Students will be introduced to vocabulary words melt, freeze, winter and cold. They will learn to draw a snowman step by step and cut out snowflakes. They will be asked to choose what activities are suitable for the winter and which ones are not. They will learn a winter song and will get to do a lot of singing in class.
