This is a Story Writing class. The purpose is to foster a LOVE OF WRITING! Each week, students will be presented with a photograph similar to the ones that children enjoy on social media. The photos will cover a variety of topics, including seasonal topics and holidays. Each week(Day 1 and Day 2) is a stand alone lesson. On Day 1, we will discuss the photo and the prompt. I will give a mini lesson on one or more writing topics including word choice, strong beginnings, organization, fairy tale...
This class is taught in English.
The goal of this class is for students to develop their story writing skills within a supportive community of other young writers. At the end of each class, your learner will have a short story that they are excited to share.
