Class Experience

In this class, we will make a banana cream pie. We will make the crust from scratch, learning easy pie crust making skills. We will make the banana cream pie filling and learn how to blind bake a crust. We will learn how to make a decorative crust for our pie and prevent the crust from burning. 

This class is interactive, which means that the students and I will bake together. Students are expected to bake during the class, though the pie may not be finished baking by the time class ends....

I have a degree in pastry arts.

We will be using various kitchen appliances in this class so parental supervision may be necessary depending on your student's skill set.
