Description

Class Experience

Students will gain a better grasp of the importance of trees in our lives. 
I have taught in the brick and mortar setting for 10 years and hold a West Virginia teaching certificate. I have been working with children for the last 17 years and working a variety of summer camps and programs for the last 13 years. I have been teaching ESL online for the past 6 months. 
optional homework will include collecting leaves (if in the appropriate climate) and taking pictures of trees and/or leaves. They may also draw images instead of taking pictures.
Required homework: Creating a presentation using drawings, words, card stock, paper or poster board. This can be done in a few minutes or may take longer. 
paper, pencil or pen, crayons or markers, poster board or card stock, optional: found leaves, camera for taking pictures outside of class Possibly, crafting materials or cardboard tube
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
Learners will be assessed through observation and presentation.
40 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
