Class Experience

US Grade Kindergarten - 3
In this class, students are introduced to the four (4) essential components (shelter, water, space and food) for a habitat. These components are important in order for an animal to survive. All four (4) components are necessary - if one is missing or insufficient, the animal will need to look for another habitat and make up for the missing components, or may not survive. Students will be asked to draw a habitat and the animals that live in said habitat. The learners are taught about 'balance in nature' in a habitat to understand cause and effect. Learners will be encouraged to explore their backyard, or a nearby outdoor area, to find habitats present by their home on their own time after class. In this class, the students are able to touch on subjects areas like Science, Environmental Education, Expressive Arts, and Mathematics.

**Please be assured that class will occur even with only 1 learner enrolled.
