Description
Class Experience
Students will learn and explore first grade skills in ELA, Math, Science, and Writing.
I will post a fluency passages each week for reading and a worksheet to go with the math skills. These will not be mandatory, but will help with your child's learning.
A white board (paper), marker, paper and pencil will be needed each class. I also recommend each child having a folder to keep all their work in.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
I will be informally assessing students. I will send a message to parents at the end of each review week to let them know how their child is doing and what skills they need to practice. I will send a message sooner if I have a concern with an area I would like the child to work on.
1 hour 30 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
I will use reading A-Z for stories each week. I have a membership, you will not need one.
