Class experience
Join us for a daily dance camp including a new daily dance routine, dance games, plus a print at home daily after camp craft activity. Students will learn a variety of dance styles with the weekly theme including: Jazz, Ballet, Hip Hop, and Musical Theatre! No experience required. Students will learn a warm up plus dance moves and different dance styles each day. Below is a sample schedule. Students will work towards a choreographed routine which they can show to parents at the end of camp. We encourage students to learn the routines and perform them for their family and friends after the camp. Students will learn a variety of dance styles to fun Themed music. Each day has a different dance style and theme. At the end of each day students will be able to follow along with a dance routine. Each day includes dancing plus games and activities. Students will have the opportunity to say hello to the other students in the class during the welcome and ending section of the class. Games include scavenger hunt, show and tell, charades, etc. Each day after the dance class students will receive a print at home after dance activity. These include coloring pages or activity sheets. These are not mandatory but fun activities to compliment the dance classes.
Recommended Attire: indoor running shoes (or other foot wear that is suitable for your flooring), something comfortable that is easy to move in. Please have a water bottle near by for any water breaks.
Please supervise your children during the class. Ensure they have a space that is comfortable to move in. We recommend about 5x5 feet of unobstructed space. Please remind students to stay off the furniture and dance on the floor.
