Class Experience

US Grade 4 - 6
Beginner Level
*Please note that you don't need to take Ocean Science Par 1 before this class. Each class is different. I also prefer students to have their videos on during classtime and keep chatroom conversation to a minimum.
Students will complete the required labs for Science by creating models and observing different specimens.
We will proceed methodically to do the models step by step in class. Mrs. Valdez will instruct students on how to do the model and provide a sample for students to view.
WARNING: I will be showing dissected and preserved animals. If your child is sensitive to this, I suggest you not enroll them.

I love teaching oceanography! I have a wide collection of specimens and shells. Having been a Biology teacher for thirty-five years has allowed me to teach students about ocean life. Every summer, I offer Oceanography summer camps for kids. I now want to offer this same experience on Outschool.
