Learners will understand that the ocean is divided into several different ecosystems and different plants and animals inhabit each. Learners will identify the various adaptations that animals use to thrive in various ocean habitats. Learners will recognize the importance of ocean ecosystems both for humans and other living things. Learners will develop a strong love for the ocean and desire to protect it.
I have an extensive background in wildlife biology and as an educator at zoos, aquariums, nature centers. I am currently the founder and CEO of EdZOOcating, a wildlife education platform.
There will be one optional worksheet posted each week.
In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
No live meetings, and maybe some time outside of class.
We will use a Google Slide presentation in each lessons. Youtube videos will be embedded in the classroom page.
